Description Set of ten whiteware dinner plates, English, 1900-1950, made by J. & G. Meakin. "Kashmir" pattern dish with black printed and hand-colored decoration on white ground; scalloped edge; fluted rim; "Indian tree" design enclosed by key in well; three conforming floral sprays along rim; colors include dark pink, dark blue, light blue, and green; manufacturer's mark stamped on base.
Inscription Text "ENGLISH / STAFFORDSHIRE / CLASSIC WHITE / Kashmir / GENUINE / HAND ENGRAVING / PERMANENT COLOURS / J. & G. / MEAKIN / ENGLAND."
